Melrose Avenue East – The New Melrose Place

September 17th, 2009

A transformation has been happening in East Hollywood over the last few years, Melrose Avenue has been attracting more and more quality retailers and office tenants making the surrounding area a desirable location for Live, Work and Play.

The building at 4300 Melrose, which sits across the street from Los Angeles City College, has been restored and brought to life with a strang base of creative tenants.  Tenants such as Eric Berg’s Early California Antiques, and Jenette Bras have brought their business to the East end of Melrose Ave.

Colony Bancorp developed 667 Berendo into creative Los Angeles office space years ahead of any resurgence of the area.  Tenanst include architects John Bertram Design, clothing designers Teenage Millionaire and other creative tenants including art galleries and more.

With Paramount Studios, Larchmont, Silver Lake, Los Feliz and Hollywood surrounding this eastern end of Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles it isn’t hard to understand why many creative businesses and individuals are moving to the new Melrose Place.
